Originally from Plymouth in the UK, Chris attended Devonport High School and now finds himself as the Vicar of a different Devonport. Chris married Verity in Devon in 2018, and they have three young children. Ordained in 2012, Chris worked in parishes in Devon and Cheshire before moving to Auckland in 2023. He is delighted to be living in this community and looks forward to sharing the good news about Jesus with the people of Devonport.
Margaret came to Holy Trinity around 11 years ago, originally drawn to the lovely Church building and stain glass windows but it is the people who are the real fabric and life of the Church that she has come to love. Margaret is looking forward to servicing as Vicars Warden and to the wider Church over the coming year.
Hello, I'm Caroline and have been a member of Holy Trinity for almost 20 years. My daughters loved attending Sunday School when they were small and it's a joy to see them, now in their 20s, spending time with the next generation of children here. It's a privilege to serve as Parish Secretary, working and learning from my Vestry colleagues.
In his previous life Terry was deeply involved in the cut and thrust and challenges of owning a significant nationwide business but now relishes the slower pace of semi-retirement with time to give back to walk alongside Chris and his team to help build the Kingdom of God in Devonport. With his wife, 4 daughters and 9 grandchildren Terry appreciates the true value of a loving family and the need to be involved to help create a caring, healthy community in which God's love is evident.
