The Auckland Men’s Convention is a young initiative, but after running successfully in Christchurch for the past decade, the organizers have brought it up north. The aim is to help men live lives of commitment to Christ. Gary Millar from Northern Ireland will speak, there will be a time of worship, and the opportunity to eat dinner with men from churches across Auckland. All this will cost only $20. For the next 4-5 weeks, during both Young Adults and Youth Group, we will be walking through the 321-course designed to help people explore Jesus’ vision for life through clear, engaging videos and space for reflection. For the evening of Saturday, 29 November, we will be using the church hall as a venue for a night dedicated to reliving the classics. In a special hybrid of live performance and black and white screening, it promises to be a unique experience suitable for everyone. We hope that any surplus from ticket sales will go towards paying down the capital debt on the hall.
